Fixed-Fee Family Law

Know Your Costs From Day One

Going through separation is stressful enough without worrying about an open-ended legal bill.

At Bennett Family Law, we offer fixed fees for many common family law matters, so you know what you will pay before any work begins.

We can do this because, while every family’s situation is personal, the legal steps to resolve many matters follow a predictable path. Where the work is contained and well-defined, you should not have to guess at the cost.

Our Fixed-Fee Services Include

Initial Consultation
A dedicated session to understand your situation, explain your options, and outline the road ahead.
Divorce Applications
Sole or joint, including drafting and lodgement with the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Consent Orders
Formalising agreed parenting and/or property arrangements into legally binding orders.
Binding Financial Agreements
Drafting, independent legal advice, and a round of revisions to finalise your agreement.

Transparent Pricing Every Step of the Way

Every fixed-fee quote is confirmed in writing before we start, and we will always tell you up front what is and is not included  including GST and any third-party costs such as court filing fees.

If a matter turns out to be more complex than a fixed fee can fairly cover, we will talk to you about it before any extra cost is incurred.

For matters that cannot be neatly defined   contested proceedings, complex financial arrangements, or high-net-worth disputes   we will provide a tailored quote or work to a clear hourly rate, with costs disclosed in writing as the law requires.

Clear pricing. No surprises.

Just straightforward family law support when you need it.
